CAMDEN — The Curtis Island Lighthouse Foundation, in partnership with the Town of Camden, announced the successful installation of a new flagpole on Curtis Island, completed over Memorial Day weekend. The new flagpole replaces the pole destroyed in a storm a few years ago. This $3,000 project was made possible through the collaboration of Nor'East Flagpole, volunteers Rick Seibel and Michael Skaling; and generous grants from West Bay Rotary, The First National Bank, and individual donors to the Curtis Island Lighthouse Foundation.
